The Alpha FL30 is compact and simple in design - useful for outdoor adventures
The Alpha FL30 backpack was made with climbers in mind which is why it’s super compact and has loads of handy facets such as it’s ice pick holsters and various pockets. This design will probably tickle the fancy of many Arcteryx fans who aren’t climbers but are looking for a heavily reliable backpack to take on various outdoor escapades.
Super lightweight and weather resistant
Of course, when you’re climbing you want to minimise the weight you’re carrying as much as possible. That’s why Arcteryx have whittled the weight of the bag down to 585 grams and a streamlined design to ensure you’re not held back during a scramble. Each element of the rucksack has been carefully considered by the brand to ensure it is performance focused. Every facet of the Alpha FL30 is there for a specific function that will benefit you during your climb.
Long lasting construction
Arcteryx have developed the N400-AC2 material which is a unique nylon fabric that acts as a superior barrier to the elements. The N400-AC2 fabric is coated with polyurethane inside and out which is water, snow and air resistant and is also white pigmented which reflects light. This comes in handy when looking for something inside the Alpha FL30 as the polyurethane illuminates. Combined with the taped seams and watertight external zips you can rest assured that the contents of your backpack will stay dry and secure for the duration of your climb.
