A buttery shred stick with plenty of pop that's designed to make the whole mountain your terrain park
The 2019 Burton Descendant Snowboard is like a gateway drug that's designed to get freestyle jibbers hooked on all-mountain riding. Spin off every roller, bust out methods on every side hit and butter and press your way to victory from first run to last. The PurePop profile in the Descendant gives it that soft yet easy-to-ollie feel of a park board, with the stability between your feet to rip hard and fast whilst you cut from one run onto the next.
Built for all-mountain madness
With flat pop-zones under foot, Burton’s PurePop Camber gives you the base to hop onto rails and over fallen trees alike. Early rising, tapered tip and tail knock out some swing weight and means the Descendant gives a floaty catch-free feel in the powder. Burton’s Squeezebox Low core design makes the board responsive using stiffer zones underfoot, whilst creating a smooth ride with softer zones between your bindings.
The Descendant is twin in shape, so your switch riding becomes super balanced, whilst the flex is also non-directional to boost your confidence when you’re riding “the wrong way”. The lightweight feel of the FSC Certified Super Fly Core marries weight-saving and pop to extend the playful feels Burton have cooked up. The Biax Fibreglass that finishes the Descendant’s construction is fairly soft, which is super-forgiving on rails and boxes.
Make the whole mountain as playful as the park by strapping into the Burton Descendant this winter.
