The Genesis is the pinnacle of years of research and development. Built to be Burton’s most comfortable snowboard binding without compromising on power and response, it combines anatomical design that smoothes and cushions the overall ride with the latest advances in high back and strap design to cradle your boots in complete suspension. Advanced polycarbonate composites keep it lightweight, while The Hinge allows the chassis and foot to roll for less fatigue and easier ollies and presses.

Slightly stiffer than mid-flex, the Genesis is ideal for advanced intermediates and above who want a tech-heavy all mountain snowboard binding that can handle kickers, rails, presses, slashes and charging with ease.

The Re:Flex baseplate actively promotes board flex thanks to its reduced footprint and the addition of a hinge through the centre of the disc which allows the board to flex more evenly from tip-to-tail, this creates a loose and playful feel, similar to that of a skateboard truck.

The Hammock ankle strap features a stitch-less construction and minimal material for heightened response and enhanced binding to board power transfer. This works in unison with the Supergrip Capstrap, constructed with a rubberised interior to provided additional hold across the toe of the boot, helping the anchor you into the heel cup for heightened response and board feel. While the Kickback Hammock highback design provides shock absorbing suspension thanks to an internal spring and rubberised hammock, this increases response and dampens vibration.

The higher the Forward Lean angle on your high backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. The MicroFLAD system offers you on-the-mountain micro-adjustability so you can fine tune your riding style with ease. Ride it more upright for relaxed cruising or park laps, or crank it forward for a more aggressive, charging orientated stance.

The Double Take buckles feature highly engineered ratchets and ladders for over 50% faster buckling and improved strength. This is complimented by the Flex Slider Technology which allows the ankle strap to hang fully open for easier boot entry.

Burton’sexclusive Hinge technology utilises a dual-component baseplate construction which flexes dynamically with your leg for increased foot roll this causes the binding to work with your natural motion rather than against it resulting in less fatigue over the course of a day plus assisted ollies, nollies, butters and presses.

Topped off with AutoCant FullBED cushioning, a multi-density EVA foam footbed which is firmer on the outside of the foot and softer on the inside. This causes your foot to fall into a naturally aligned position, dramatically reducing the strain on your ankle, knee and hip and actively promotes increased power transfer from your core to the board’s edge. The trapdoor design hides the baseplate underfoot, keeping it snow and ice free so you don’t need to dig it out every time you strap in.
