Renowned the world over as the original tech-heavy, super high performance all-mountain boot, the 2019 Burton Ion is the perfect choice for piste chargers, powder seekers and park lappers alike.

Supportive and responsive for high speeds and big hits

Ankle support, inner cuff stability and impact protection are key in any high-end snowboard boot, which is why Burton’s Tuff Cuff and Level 2 moulded EVA footbed with removeable G3 heel inserts are two of the Ion’s key features – soaking up big hits and keeping your ankle supported, both medially and laterally. Of course, response is a biggie too, which is where the exclusive Speed Zone quick lacing system comes in. Using two pull cords to control the tightness of the upper and lower sections of the boot, you can fine-tune the fit without having to completely unlace your boots and start from scratch.

Warm yet breathable and stink-resistant

While it’s super light, Burton’s Life Liner provides a more relaxed feel that doesn’t take its toll on your feet after a long day on the mountain. The Dryride Heat Cycle lining and Sleeping Bag reflective foil keeps your toes warm on cold days, while remaining breathable and wicking moisture away to keep you dry. Aegis Antimicrobial Coating combats and inhibits bacteria which helps to keep bad odours at bay.

Out-of-the-box comfort

Burton’s Total Comfort construction gives the boots an instantly broken-in feel right out of the box, while AutoCANT Cushioning guides your foot and ankle into a more natural and relaxed position for reduced fatigue over long days on the hill. A Pressure Relief Panel is fused to the section of boot where the binding ankle strap rests across it, for even pressure distribution when your bindings are cranked tight, while Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology reduces the boot’s overall footprint one full size, which all helps to reduce the instances of dreaded toe or heel drag.

    Delivery expected by Monday 29 April

    Most items will be dispatched with DPD and are fully track-able. The delivery must be signed for so someone must be at the specified address to accept the items. It is not possible for the delivery driver to leave the packages without a signature.
    In rare cases, rural addresses may be 2 days for delivery. If you are concerned please get in touch before placing order.

  • Collect in Store - £0.00

    You can place your order online and drop into our store in Edinburgh, Scotland, to collect your order. Please enter your billing address into the delivery address section, and tick the box to say both addresses are the same.

Returns

OUR RETURNS POLICY

Generally, we'll be happy to exchange or refund anything you've bought for up to one month from the date you receive it, so long as it’s in perfect, unused condition. If you'd like to return or exchange an item you bought more than one month ago, then you may be able to, but please email us about it first – a small restocking charge may also apply.

Returning or exchanging an item does not affect your statutory rights. You’ll find the official cancellation policy within full our Terms & Conditions.

All orders made between 1 November 2018 and 24 December 2018 are eligible for our extended return period. So, if you’re buying someone a gift and it’s not quite right, you’ve got until 24 March 2019 to return it*.

You’re responsible for the cost of returning items to us, but if you choose an exchange, we’ll be happy to cover the cost of shipping things back to you.
