Introducing the latest evolution of the award-winning Radical 2.0
The new Rotation 10 binding from Dynafit picks up where their highly-regarded Radical 2.0 binding left off. The first generation Radical 2.0 was billed as a game-changer in the movement away from traditional frame bindings to 'tech' pin bindings, offering super-simple operation and the added knee protection on the form of a rotating toe piece, which vastly improved the tech binding’s ability to absorb lateral impact. The Rotation 10 offers all of the Radical 2.0’s benefits – 10mm of forward pressure and that rotating toe piece – while refining things even further to boost performance and reduce weight.
Stress-free entry and downhill reliability
Up front, the addition of a spring-tensioner to the toe piece forces it to auto-realign in the centre making it a much smoother entry. At the back, the heel unit is now integrated into the baseplate, adding strength and improving lateral stiffness – reducing the heel play that Dynafit bindings have been a little guilty of over the years. You still get that same 10mm of dynamic forward pressure, which adds elasticity and reliability to your descents while maintaining power transfer.
A solid construction that’s lighter than ever
For the climb, the Rotation 10 retains the same two position heel elevators and ease of use, and while the Radical 2.0s were already light, Dynafit has managed to trim and extra 50 grams from the Rotation 10 to make them even easier on the ascents.
Packed with touring-specific features
All the Radical’s best features make a return on the Roatation 10, including the 'Easy Lock' brake system, which lets you engage or disengage the brake independently of the heel. Move the toe piece into walk mode and it locks in place for the same easy-walking feel as you’ve come to expect from Dynafit bindings. Plus it’s compatible with Dynafit ski crampons for extra peace of mind on icy skin tracks and wind-blown faces.
