The ION 12 Binding from G3 is a weight-saving touring binding designed for quick ascents and control on the way down. With easy step-in, mode switching and snow clearing, the ION 12 is suitable for any keen ski tourer that likes to get the ups out of the way quickly to enjoy the fresh on the way down.
Safe as houses
The ION 12 bindings are designed to absorb forward pressure to eliminate the risk of pre-release and give you a much smoother ride when ripping your line. G3 have upgraded the brake in the 2019 model by adding a more reliable, stronger spring that doesn’t add weight to keep it out of play when you’re climbing. The ION 12 offers solid-feeling torsional rigidity due to its wide freeride design, which feels efficient from edge to edge.
Lightweight and easy to use
The ION 12’s toe piece offers a super easy step in - the toe of your boot will butt up against to guide you onto the pins. The heel also has simple functionality - it can be rotated either way to access walk mode, and pushed down to lock it that way whilst you concentrate on ascending. Your heel risers flip either way too and are easily switched between using your pole basket. The ION’s can be mounted and adjusted with a single tool – Pozi Drive #3.
Easy snow clearing
The toe pins have a small groove in them, which as you stride along, rotate to force snow out of your boot inserts. Underneath the toepiece, you’ll find a small groove small enough to fit your pole into to clear snow and ice out.

OUR RETURNS POLICY
Generally, we'll be happy to exchange or refund anything you've bought for up to one month from the date you receive it, so long as it’s in perfect, unused condition. If you'd like to return or exchange an item you bought more than one month ago, then you may be able to, but please email us about it first – a small restocking charge may also apply.

- Skis and ski bindings which have been mounted, because these will have been done to your specific requirements and can’t be resold
