The Burton [ak] Helium Grid Full-Zip Fleece brings highly breathable, midweight warmth to mountain missions of any sort. The pack-friendly design is wind and abrasion-resistant on the front with an extra breathable panel on the back. It's a go-to layering piece that can stand alone on the hike up and works great under a shell in exposed alpine terrain or on the descent.

The Helium has been made using a combination of Polartec® Power Grid™ fleece, which increases warmth and breathability in a lightweight and durable design, and Polartec® Hardface® fleece for increased abrasion resistance and water repellency. Burton have also included breathable fleece under arms and on the back which is vital for temperature ventilation when the going gets tough.

Burton's slim fit sits close to the body, with room for the garment to move with you, making this the ideal mid-layer for backcountry tours, hikes or just wearing around town during the winter months.

Burton have included all the extra's you'd expect from a technical layering piece, from stretch cuffs with stretch binding thumb loops to a zippered chest pocket and hand-warmer pockets.
