About the Care Plus Wedge

The Care Plus Wedge Mosquito Net gives you a travel-friendly fine mesh net impregnated with insect repellent Durallin® to protect against biting and stinging insects such as mosquitos, horseflies, sandflies, midges, and ticks.

The design is suitable for 1 person and features a wedge-shaped design with a single attachment point for hanging. An extra tuck-in flap along the bottom lets you fix the net firmly under the mattress or sleeping pad. The Wedge includes an attachment kit, consisting of string, attachment hooks, nails, and safety pins, letting you hang it in a variety of ways to suit your surroundings.

The Wedge is ideal for backpackers and travelers undertaking long-distance trips to areas with malaria risk. Care Plus mosquito nets are manufactured entirely in line with WHO (World Health Organisation) guidelines. This means that all impregnated mosquito nets are manufactured with a mesh size of 156 holes per square inch (2.54 cm), a fibre thickness of 75 denier, and a quadrilateral, material-saving rhombus mesh pattern.

Durallin® technology uses the contact insecticide Permethrin. This adheres to the mosquito net to ensure that mosquitoes do not land on the net or bite through it. Despite a minimal impregnation dosage, Care Plus guarantee optimum protection against mosquitoes with impregnation remaining effective up to 3 years.

Care Plus recommend that you use impregnated nets in a well-ventilated area and wash your hands after contact. Keep impregnated nets out of reach of children.

Each net is made from durable polyester fibre and can be washed by hand 20 x at 30 °C without losing their effectiveness. Preferably use a chlorine-free washing detergent. Always store the net in its accompanying bag in a dark place.
