About the Coast HL27 Headlamp

Function forms the foundation of the HL27, a light control wheel allows the brightness to be tailored to your needs. A rotating sensor allows for precise levels of beam intensity to be dialled in.

Coast Torches use the Pure Beam Focusing optic, which combines a lens and reflector as one optic. This allows for a seamless transition between short flood and long-range spot viewing. An Ultra View Flood beams provides edge to edge clarity with no artefacts in a broad circle. Bulls Eye Spot beam delivers a sharp ray of light with a greater throw to illuminate objects at further distances with a transitional halo around the spot to increase the effective viewing area.

Constructed to the strictest standards the headlamp is IPX4 rated for impressive water resistance, ready for whatever mother nature throws at your escape from home.

Powered by readily available 3 x AA batteries (included) the headlamp boasts an impressive runtime of up to 4 hours. Moreover, the battery pack is located on the rear of the head, improving weight distribution.

A hinged plate allows for the angle of the beam to be adjusted for the task at hand. For climbers who require a general purpose headlamp the HL27 is hard hat / helmet compatible.
