The 2018 K2 Wayback 104 is a men's freeride/touring ski that forms part of the brand's popular Backside range. With that chunky 104mm waist, it's the widest of the Wayback series and clearly built to excel in soft snow. The hybrid All-terrain Rocker profile has plenty of floaty rocker up-front to back up that wide waist, while there's still plenty of camber underfoot and into the flat tail to give you grip on hardpack.
At its heart is a Paulownia-Maple Core that's super light and tourable, while being infused with a weaved Carbon Web for bags of torsional rigidity and edge-to-edge performance. All this in a ski that weighs in at just 1650g per ski in a 177cm. Mental.
