About the Majesty Vixen
The Majesty Vixen is a freeride ski designed for women who want to charge every area of the mountain. The elliptical rocker technology in this directional twin-tip creates a surfy feeling over soft snow, while camber underfoot keeps things stable. Carbon-kevlar stringers and a stiff flex combine to make this ski super responsive, and able to cut through any terrain.
Durability is key to any freeride ski, and the Vixen features Majesty’s ABS Sidewalls which absorb shock and keep the ride smooth. A double layer wood core wrapped in Triaxial Fibreglass lets it take huge cliff drops without too much fear of damaging the ski.
While the Majesty Vixen is designed for freeride terrain, the ski isn’t excessively wide, which makes it a versatile option for the advanced skier who might find themselves on piste as well as off from time to time.
- Double Layer Wood Core - Full tip to tail poplar and ash provides natural flex with extreme durability
- Biaxial Fibreglass - The core is wrapped in fibreglass to increase the skis response without making it too aggressive and keeping it easy to handle
- 90° ABS Sidewalls - Sidewall construction makes the ski responsive edge to edge whilst ABS reduces vibration and makes the ski more comfortable
- Shock Absorbers - Extra edge protection with added vibration reduction
- Carbon/Kevlar Stringers - Full tip to tail carbon and kevlar stringers increases pop and long life flex
- Elliptical Rocker Technology - This rocker technology is based on the radius of an ellipse rather than that of a circle. Therefore the rocker is much more gradual than standard rocker and floats smoothly over the snow
- 2D Hybrid profile - A combination of rocker and camber brings the benefits of both constructions. Rocker in the tip and tail enhances playfulness and adds float. Camber adds control and edge grip. The widest points of the ski have been moved towards the centre and matched to the skis profile, this shortens the effective edge, allowing for easy turns with extra control
- Skis 4 Trees - All of Majesty's skis feature a high quality wood core, to offset the cutting of the required wood, Majesty plant a tree for every pair of skis they sell
