About the Montane High Alpine 20

Especially designed to cater to the needs of Montane athletes, the High Alpine 20 has been developed and tested to be incredibly strong yet still ultra-light.

With an outer made from RAPTOR Diamond 70 Denier fabric with Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene fibre, the world’s strongest fibre, to ensure the High Alpine 20 is ultra strong and lightweight. A RAPTOR Resistance 210 Denier back panel offers extra support and toughness too.

The High Alpine’s harness is made of CONTACT Alpine fabric, which provides all day comfort and a quick dry time, and a HALO lining on the inside of the pack is superlight and offers additional protection to contents inside. For your comfort, the High Alpine 20 uses a snow-shedding, lightweight back system and harness, which enhances ventilation and wicks moisture away from the body.

The lid of the High Alpine 20 has plenty of storage, with a front low profile stash pocket, a side zipped pocket, an internal security pocket with key clip, and a zipped chest pocket on the harness. The harness also features a clip loop and daisy chain, axe, rope and helmet attachment points. The lid uses an asymmetric drawcord opening with Cord Lord quick release adjustment and bivi flap for security and accessibility.

This pack uses Montane’s off-centre Click and Go harness, which reduces bulk across the sternum and is easy to use with gloves or mitts.
