As used by Jeremy Jones POC's Fornix Backcountry MIPS Snowboard helmet is a lightweight, reinforced helmet that features the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System which ensures that in the event of an direct impact accident from skiing or snowboarding, the MIPS system reduces the rotational force to the brain therefore greatly reducing injury.
Additionally the Fornix Backcountry features an Aramid material between the outer shell and bridging the EPS foam material inside the helmet (Aramid is the same material used in bullet proof vests), this design feature increases the helmets structural stability and in the event of an accident, the energy is spread over a larger surface area of the helmet, giving the helmet better energy absorption and reducing further injury to the head.

The Fornix has an adjustable venting system so you can easily change the ventilation of your head for cold or warm days and the fixed goggle clip makes sure you don't loose your ski or snowboard goggles when out on the hill. There is also a size adjustment system allowing you to customize the fit of the helmet to make sure it stays safe and comfortable in place.
