Xavier De Le Rue's award-winning, big-mountain brainchild, the Rossignol XV, is back to push the boundaries of big-mountain riding. The super directional shape with a large, stiff nose and narrower tapered tail offers effortless float and manoeuvrability. Serrated Edge technology ensures incomparable grip and edge control for the precision and confidence to plant your front foot and pin it over anything in your path.
A stiff deck to push you through anything and everything
The XV board is fitted with an AmpTek Elite Rocker which is constructed with stiff ends and a soft centre. This design also features camber between the feet for extra pop and rocker at the nose and tail for a catch free ride and steady landings. The XV is built with a symmetrical flex which is stiff under where your bindings sit for extra control especially at high speeds. Having a Reverse Super Direction board like the XV provides an extremely stiff area under your leading foot which gives riders ultimate control over their line and the power to drive it. Rossignol's advanced edge technology creates more contact points between the board and the snow providing riders with extra stability and edge hold even on ice.
Lightweight and surfy
Rossignol's edge technology coupled with their Roller BC base creates great edge lift to give riders that float in pow that we all know and love and great edge to edge transitions. The Triple Hybrid Core features Dual Torsion Box and mixes two types of laminated wood with three microcell beams and two strips of basalt for extra pop while keeping the control in the riders hands. ABS Sidewalls are a durable means of protecting the XV's core and provide light durability for the board. A PU Microcell is also integrated into the core of the board to reduce weight and add extra snap and liveliness to the board.
