The Salomon XDR 84 Ti Skis with Warden 13 Bindings combine a solid piste-orientated design with critical freeride-esque technologies for a cruisy carving feel on the corduroy that stays in control through softer snow and cruddy conditions. The XDR 84 Ti feels like a narrow speed-demon on piste but retains an element of versatility for less-than-ideal snow conditions.

A different side to the classic frontside ski

Salomon's XDR series differentiate themselves from other piste performing skis like Volkl's RTM series through their freeride-flavour heritage. Whereas other piste skis re-purpose aggressive race heritage technologies, the XDR 84 uses freeride inspired engineering to deliver a ski that performs on-piste but still holds together through ungroomed and choppy snow.

Freeride technology wrapped up for carving power and smooth turns

The XDR 84 Ti doubles up on Salomon's proprietary C/FX 3 Carbon and flax reinforcement. Carbon provides a superlight rigidity and flax fibres reduce the associated chatter and instability for a smooth and responsively damp ride. All-Terrain rocker profile keeps the tip out of the chowder and a Ti Power Zone adds under-binding titanium for a critically powerful and stable platform that delivers a solid carve.
