About the Singing Rock Onyx
Tie into the Singing Rock Onyx harness and embark on a sport climbing adventure knowing your movements will not be hindered thanks to the Onyx's ergonomic finish.
A single (patented) Rock&Lock stainless steel waistbelt buckle securely straps down the Onyx with ease whilst the padding along the waist and legs which is made with EVA foam and enclosed in a high abrasion PES fabric promotes breathability and comfort. The leg loops are elasticated for quick and easy on and off.
A unique feature on the Onyx harness is Singing Rock's BMI size system which offers the ability to adjust the buckle end of the waistbelt inline with the user's layering system or weight gain/loss. You will see in one of the images there are three slots for the buckle end to be threaded through to avoid extra padding sticking out and to ensure the closest gear loop has plenty of clearance.
Four braided gear loops are equally spaced around the harness and their shaping is nice and ergonomic for easy quickdraw racking. A rear haul loop with a capacity of 30kg is sewn in for multi-pitch hauling days. As expected, you will find a 12mm belay loop rated at 15kN.
