About the Slingfin SplitWing Mesh Body

The Slingfin SplitWing Mesh Body gives you an ultralight inner tent that transforms your SplitWing UL Tarp into a double-wall hiking tent for added insect protection when camping out in bug country.

A toggle and loop system attaches the Mesh Body to the underside of the tarp and can be left attached on longer trips for ease of pitching. The Mesh Body can be used with a range of tarps or even as a standalone bug shelter on minimalist summer campouts using the included guylines and pitching with hiking poles (poles not included).

Inside, the Mesh Body is roomy enough room for one, although it can accommodate two in a pinch. The fine mesh construction keeps out the smallest of biting nasties while straight zippers increase durability and a strong, PE-coated 20D ripstop floor protects from ground moisture. An additional SplitWing Floor is available for added ground protection (sold separately).

The ultralight SplitWing Mesh Body is one for the fast-moving hiker, backpacker, and wild camper looking for the lowest pack-weight without compromising on performance. A perfect complement to the SplitWing, the Mesh Body delivers added protection against bugs and the elements and is designed to meet the challenges of a thru-hike and beyond.
