About the Soto Muka Expedition Stove

The Soto Muka liquid fuel stove gives you a cleaner burning expedition stove with a higher output than other gasoline burners in its class. The revolutionary design offers a consistently powerful flame while eliminating many common issues associated with liquid fuel stoves such as sooting, awkward preheating, and general maintenance.
At the core of its design, the Muka differs from conventional liquid fuel stoves in that it needs no priming. This is due to the Muka Generator Unit which works by atomising liquid fuel into a gas before ignition. This simplifies the Muka's design, removing the need for priming before use and giving you a greatly reduced 'flare-up' when lighting, much like that of a gas stove.
A red-line pressure indicator on the pump's side lets you know when the fuel bottle is at the optimum pressure. Once lit, the Muka takes just 10 seconds to stabilise, reducing cumbersome preheating. For safety, the Muka's pump features an emergency shut off button.
When cooking is finished, a cool 'Air' setting on the pump lets you release all the air in the fuel bottle to extinguish the flame and empty the fuel line at the same time. This reduces fuel residue leaking all over your kit when stowing.
The kit includes the Muka Pro Windscreen and O2 Maximiser to give you a handy kit to boost the Muka's heating efficiency.
The aluminium foil windscreen encircles your stove to reduce wind effect while working alongside the lightweight heat reflective sheet to direct heat back towards the cooking pot for added efficiency.
A hole in the wind shield lets you connect the 02 Maximizer to the Muka stove's vent. This circumvents the trapped, heated air inside the boundary of your windscreen to draw in fresh oxygen from outside and directly to your stove. This delivers improved combustion while allowing your stove full protection from the wind.
When not in use the 02 Maximiser can be paired with the Wind Screen Pro and rolled up into one compact stowable unit.
