The Attack² 18 X GW is a part of Head/Tyrolia's AAA (Access All Areas) binding range. The Attack 18 is for riders who want to attack the whole mountain from charging the piste, slashing some pow or stomping tricks in the park and is fast becoming one of the most popular freeski bindings on the market. It is the binding of choice for most of Head's park, pipe and backcountry riders and you can see why when you look at how much tech has been crammed into it.
These bindings feature the FR Pro2 Toe piece to extend the capabilities of all mountain skiing. The new toe piece now allows you to use boots featuring Grip Walk (Gripwalk logo will feature on sole of boot if compatible, not compatible with true touring soles) as well as standard alpine soles. The bindings boot sole compatibility can be adjusted through the super secure 77mm AFD (anti friction device). The Attack 18 heel piece features the Race Pro FR heel that has a reduced stand height of 17mm, giving you greater transmission of power. A new release kinematic has also been developed in order to give more constant release values as well as reduced friction levels making for a more reliable and precise binding.
With a DIN range that goes up to 18, we recommend these bindings for advanced or expert riders, who are experienced at carving, freeriding, or steep terrain.
