All Aboard the Luv Boat. Next Stop, Anywhere You Point Them.

The K2 Luv Boat 105 is the all-mountain vessel you’ve been looking for. With 105mm waist width, and a flex that works with you when you need to drive turns, you can set sail down any run you fancy. Float in pow, rip on the groomers and carve up everything in between.

Women’s specific all-mountain construction

The Nanolite Konic Tech combines a composite core with lightweight wood, and durable metal laminate perimeters. The result is a lightweight ski that has low swing weight, but still drives all your power to the turn. Across the top, triaxially braided laminates give the ski torsional stiffness for optimum response as you flex the ski, no matter what you’re riding on.

Float for days

K2’s All-Terrain rocker gives the Luv Boat 105s stability underfoot for drive on the hard pack, with rocker in the extremes to give you float. You’ve got a Hybrid Sidewalls too - they're capped at the ends of the ski to give you floaty feels in the pow, and when the snow gets tracked out, you get awesome edge hold from the full sidewall under your boots.

If you’re looking for next-level powder performance, but still want full control when you jump back on the piste, the K2 Luv Boat 105s are a great choice.

The best bits…

  • Powerful Nanolite Konic Tech
  • Lightweight Bioflex Konic Technology
  • Responsive Triaxally Braided laminates
  • Versatile Hybrid Sidewall Construction
  • All-mountain All-Terrain Rocker profile

Size Guide

The size chart below provides a basic guide to finding the right ski length based on your height and ability but there are several other factors you should consider before choosing your new skis!

The two most relevant considerations when interpreting the chart below are your weight and the type of skiing you intend to do.

Weight: If you’re a heavier built that the average person of your height then we suggest choosing a longer ski as a heavier skier requires more edge to grip the snow and more base area for floatation in powder and cruddy snow.  Conversely, if you’re a slimmer build you may want to consider going for a shorter ski as you’ll need less edge / ski to support your weight than someone of an ‘average’ build.

Skier Type: Secondly, if you want a ski that’s going to inspire confidence when you’re skiing fast and you like to ski faster than most, then a longer ski is going to be preferable.   The additional edge and float provided by a longer ski will give you a more stable ride.  If, however, you’re more freestyle focussed and you want a ski that’s going to be more nimble and easier to manoeuvre at low speeds then a slightly shorter ski will work better for you as there will be less ski to manage.

If you have any queries at all on finding the right ski or ski size for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for further advice.
