Designed to be the elusive “one-board-quiver”, the K2 Turbo Dream is built to float powder, rip groomers and pop over anything in the park. Since its inception the Turbo Dream has created a lasting legacy for itself, proving without question that it’s one of the most versatile all-mountain snowboards currently available. It effortlessly handles groomers, floats fresh powder, slashes spring slush, slides handrails and stomps landings.

Flexing bang on mid-flex, it’s perfect for intermediate riders and above who want a go-anyway-do-anything board that perfectly balances fun and forgiveness with precision and response.

Built around K2’s WH3 core, comprised of several different species of renewable wood which are layered to optimise strength, reduce weight and enhance damping. Added to this configuration are two strips of K2’s Honeykomb material, a urethane polymer that increases the core’s strength and duarability. Positioned between the binding inserts, running parallel with the boards edges, the Honeykomb helps to transfer power from the bindings along the edge of the board.

This is complemented by K2’s carbon web technology; carbon fibre stringers which channel energy from the binding inserts into the nose, tail and contact points. This supports the whole length of the tip and tai and results in a more connected feedback loop from terrain to rider.

The Hybritech layup construction is K2’s most efficient snowboard fabrication process. It features sidewall along the board’s full running edge that blends into the nose and tail, providing low swing-weight, optimised turn initiation and increased durability.

The Turbo Dream’s topsheet utilises bi-axial laminates, offering the best of both worlds; a playful and fun flex from nose to tail, while retaining response and precision edge to edge. The laminate also benefits from Ice Glass additive, a process of integrating carbon into the fiberglass which reduces overall weight and creates a smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness.

The 4000 sintered base is the fastest natural base material available. It’s exceptionally durable and absorbs wax deep into its pores meaning it can take sustained abuse while going longer between services.

The Turbo Dream features K2’s AT Baseline camber. Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, All Terrain Baseline features zero, or flat, camber underfoot with a medium rise rocker in the tip and a lower rise in the tail. This makes the board super stable underfoot, allows for effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud.

This is enhanced by K2’s Tweekend nose and tail profile, a process of extending the rocker all the way to the absolute ends of the board. This gives you a much bigger, more stable platform to press, butter, float and land on.

What we say: “The Turbo Dream’s reputation as a killer all-mountain snowboard is one which has been well and truly cemented in the history books. Time-honoured and tested, it’s often revered by anyone who’s ever had the pleasure of riding one.”
