Light and tourable, but dominant on the downs.
The 2019 Lange XT Free 120 is a lightweight but responsive free-touring ski boot for lighter aggressive expert skiers or heavier advanced skiers looking for a little more of a forgiving flex. They’re a quiver-killing boot that’s designed to climb and descend with equal prowess. Pin-tech inserts and the Power V-Lock 2.0 walk/ski mode (with its 43 degree range of motion) combine with the low overall weight to make skinning up a dream.
Weight-optimised shell blends comfort and performance
The dual-core mono-injected Grilamid shell provides plenty of power transfer and composure on the downs, with a consistent flex regardless of the temperature. The shell’s two different grades of Grilamid are strategically-optimised to deliver either power-transfer or comfort, depending on where they’re deployed.
Customisable as they come
With a 100mm last, the XT Free 120 is best for skiers who have a narrow to medium forefoot and narrow to medium leg shape. Your local boot technician can also use heat to adapt the shell to your feet – widening them by up to 6mm at key points. The Dual 3D Pro Liner has an anatomically correct fit that can be heat-customised to accelerate the breaking in process.
