A concaved, surface-planing speeder that’s super-fast and skatey
The Puddle Jumper surfboard from Lib Tech is the product of their collab with Matt Biolos and his legendary Lost Surfboards brand. The board is the first in a series of boards that will see Matt’s shapes applied to Lib Tech’s environmentally nicer, and technologically tougher ECO ISO construction. If you’re not familiar with this stuff yet, get to know it! You can pretty much drive your truck over it and still go ahead and ride – it’s seriously strong. This is a 2017 model that's at a rare, clearance price too - so grab it before it goes!
Easy wave catching and loads of glide
The puddle jumper is built to be a fast board with a skatey feel that’s super accessible. It features a concave bottom that transitions to a vee in the tail, while the wide outline makes for easy wave catching, down the line glide and stability.
The Puddle Jumper’s concave bottom adds lift and increased rail curve, which translates into radical top to bottom surfing performance.
The straight rail line & vee in the tail keep the board moving forward and hold in during hard carving maneuvers.
A super strong core that’s better for the environment
At the heart of the board is Lib Tech’s Nitrogencell foam that’s loaded with nitrogen, with an engineered elongated cell structure that delivers maximum compression strength and energy return. Nitrogenecell does not absorb water and is made from 25%-40% recycled material.
The board is finished with a unique resin matrix that delivers the best qualities of a new polyester with the lifespan of an epoxy.
