The LOOK Pivot 14 Dual WTR is a high-performance, dual standard freeride binding with a 5-14 DIN range. Compatible with both WTR "Walk to Ride" rockered soles and standard Alpine boot soles, the dual standard concept allows quick, easy adjustment between the two sole options with a consistent, natural stance.
The reinforced Full Action toe piece combined with the classic Pivot "turntable" heel delivers maximum power transmission, shock absorption and the longest elastic travel on the market, providing more reliable retention and consistent release. The Pivot 14 is intended for all-mountain, freeride and freestyle skiing.
The elastic travel design results in more reliable retention to keep you in when you need. LOOK bindings boast the most lateral travel before release and the fastest re-centring, delivering superior shock absorption and reducing unwanted pre-release. This is complemented by the unique turntable design which rotates directly under the tibia and provides 28mm of elastic travel, delivering unmatched shock absorption for significant reduction of pre-release.
All LOOK bindings feature a 3D multidirectional release which reduces the risk of injury across all types of fall. In addition, the boot sole is always under constant pressure, this provides better control and stability for you to drive your skis with.
The Full Action toe drives more power to the ski while enhancing steering and control thanks to the strategically reinforced housing which also enhances its durability. Meanwhile the toe ramp increases leverage and drives energy, while the 14% longer toe-wings provide stronger boot to binding coupling and maximum power transmission. This is topped off with a 10% wider platform that standard Alpine bindings, creating more efficient power transmission, enhanced steering and complete control. The more points-of-contact between the boot and the binding results in increased energy transmission, more power to the edge of the ski and superior control, response and snow feel.
The traditional screw-mounted design makes them compatible with any flat alpine ski on the market. They feature the shortest mounting zone of any alpine binding available which reduces swing weight, improves response and allows the ski a deeper, rounded, more consistent flex.
What we say: “For the vast majority of riders, the Pivot 14 is the most usable model in the Pivot family. Its well rounded DIN range makes it suitable for all but the most aggressive of riders.”
