The new 2019 Alpinist 12 Touring Binding from Marker is simple, smooth, and effective. It foregoes avant-garde, overly technical, and potentially unreliable features, and opts instead to combine the best elements from many other designs whilst keeping the gram-count down to a minimum. Ideal for big days on the ascent when you want a reliably smooth ride to the bottom. 

Subtly smooth but it makes all the difference

The Alpinist 12 excels at ploughing through soft and choppy snow and manages to keep the ride feeling even and controllable. On harder packed snow the binding manages to absorb feedback, making for a more comfortable descent. 

Refined technology that works well

The Alpinist features active length compensation that moves the heel piece on a track to compensate for the change in length due to ski flex, this dramatically improves the boot-binding reflex and feeling. Marker’s toe-piece design is solid but the Alpinist 12’s heel design really shines the brightest.

The Alpinist 12 manages to keep weight low and the walk-mode feels fluid and natural. Marker have managed to keep gram-count down. With a single binding (105mm brake) weighing in at a tiny 335 grams. You can keep climbing for longer and keep fresh for the fun bits – downhill…

    Delivery expected by Wednesday 3 October

    Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. Delivery will be made by your Postman at the usual time. This service is not trackable and there are no guarantees on delivery date. For larger items, we may need to ship with a courier, if you'd like to know more, get in touch on 0131 260 9677. If the Postman is unable to deliver, you may be required to go to your local Mail sorting office to collect the package.

  • Next Working Day | Tracked - £4.99

    Delivery expected by Tuesday 2 October

    Most items will be dispatched with DPD and are fully track-able. The delivery must be signed for so someone must be at the specified address to accept the items. It is not possible for the delivery driver to leave the packages without a signature.
    In rare cases, rural addresses may be 2 days for delivery. If you are concerned please get in touch before placing order.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • DPD 12 Noon | Tracked - £14.99

    Delivery expected by 12:00 on Tuesday 2 October

    Delivery will be made by 12noon on the next working day (Monday to Friday). This delivery must be signed for, so someone must be at the specified address to accept the delivery.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • DPD Saturday 12 Noon | Tracked - £19.99

    Delivery expected by 12:00 on Saturday 6 October

    Delivery will be made by 12noon on the Saturday morning. This delivery must be signed for, so someone must be at the specified address to accept the delivery.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • Collect in Store - £0.00

    You can place your order online and drop into our store in Edinburgh, Scotland, to collect your order. Please enter your billing address into the delivery address section, and tick the box to say both addresses are the same.
    Orders will be kept aside for 2 weeks. If you require longer, please email contact@freezeproshop.com

Returns

We will happily exchange or refund items up to one month from the date of receipt (see cancelation policy). In addition to this we may be able to exchange or refund items returned outwith this timeframe if they are in unused and perfect condition but a small re-stocking charge may apply, please contact us by email to discuss this before sending goods back within this time frame.

On the back of your delivery note you will find your returns form which details the returns process. If you can't find it you request one from orders@freezeproshop.com

Faulty items that are under manufacturers warranty can be returned to us and if found to be faulty will be refunded or replaced, this is subject to inspection by the manufacturer. Please contact us for a returns authorisation before sending, if found not to be faulty then we may have to charge for any re-posting costs and will be unable to cover your return costs.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS-

  • Underwear (for obvious reasons)
  • Skis and ski bindings which have been mounted, as these will have been done to your specific requirements
  • DVDs which have been opened
  • Any item which is missing tags or is not in a new condition

Please note, that customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us for returns or exchanges, however we will happily cover the cost of shipping exchanges back to you.
