A touring binding for those dabbling in the backcountry for the first time, with all reliability and alpine performance you need when the weather doesn’t cough up the goods
The 2019 F10 Tour Ski Touring Bindings give you a featherlight alternative to their burlier Marker cousins. The F10 Tour offers up a 3-10 DIN range – making it a great choice for lighter, less aggressive skiers who want a reliable touring set-up. Whether you’re going with your alpine or your touring boots, the F10 has Sole.ID and a heel unit that accepts both – so no matter what the day throws at you, they’ll quickly become your go-to binding.
Awesome strength-to-weight ratio
Thanks to Marker’s Hollow Tech design – a gas-injected construction that saves weight, with fibre reinforcement for strength – the F10 Tour Bindings lighten your load on the way up without sacrificing performance when you head back down. The Triple Pivot Light toe unit is built on reliability – both in terms of eliminating pre-release and providing reliable ejection in a fall. The Hollow Linkage Heel retains all types of boots soles and offers excellent hold as you rip that line you’ve spent the morning eyeing-up.
Take to the tour in lightweight comfort
Built with the backcountry-specific Touring Base Plate, the F10 Tour has a wide frame, secured at several positions to distribute pressure evenly as you move. Marker’s ergonomically-shaped lever makes switching between ski and skin modes a breeze, and its positioning means no accidental shifting when you’re on the move. Skin mode moves the binding back 40mm to give you a natural walking position and easier kick turns. You’ve got a three-position, padded climbing aid to save your legs on the steeps – it’s easily adjusted with your pole and dampens the shock from clack as you go.
If you’re after easy entry into touring and a binding that will offer performance as you progress, then Marker’s F10 Tour fits the bill.
