IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A BINDING WHICH IS EASY ON THE WALLET BUT LOADED WITH ATTITUDE, THE SQUIRE’S GOT YOU COVERED.
Often regarded as the “youngest sibling” in Marker’s Royal Family range, the Marker Squire 11 is built for skiers who want a binding which shares the Griffon and Jester’s responsive and reliable bloodline - but lacks their bulk, weight or price tag.
One for all the family
Whilst the Squire isn’t gender or age specific, there’s a noticeable bias in favour of female and youth customers, who lean towards the Squire thanks to its no-nonsense design and low DIN range which lends itself well to lighter weight skiers. Gents with fragile masculinity shouldn’t be put off however, the Squire packs a lot of bang for your buck and is more than enough binding for most skiers - regardless of gender, discipline, age or ability.
The Squire features a low-friction AFD plate in the toe piece which not only buffers vibration, helping to reduce pre-release, but aids in medial and lateral release when required. This is complemented by the Triple Pivot toe – a Marker specific technology which allows the toe wings to move independently, as well as allowing the toe piece to pivot forwards in the event of a backwards fall. Topped off with a state of the art Hollow Linkage heel piece – built to optimise retention and torsional stiffness, ensuring the Squire is super responsive without any trade-off in safety.
When it was first introduced, the Marker Squire 11 was an overnight success - its winning formula of lightweight construction, high-end safety, obedient performance and budget-beating price tag, ensure it’s a success which will continue long into the future.
