The Nitro Chuck, a park board designed by and for park riders. Effortlessly harnessing the perfect amount of pop to boost kickers, while maintaining the right amount of flex for presses and butters. The Chuck makes short work of park features; bolstered against abuse thanks to a variety of Nitro exclusive technology, ensuring that only thing you need to worry about is sticking your landings.

Flexing slightly stiffer than mid-flex, it’s great for intermediate park riders and up who want a board that is durable enough to handle abuse from rails and boxes, yet forgiving enough to absorb heavy kicker landings or coming up short on the knuckle.

Built around Nitro’s Power II core, tip-to-tail poplar wood laminates with additional beech wood stringers, that provide lightweight strength and the perfect blend of flex, response and feel. This keeps the board obedient on uneven or unpredictable snowpack, yet playful and fun when you’re laying down a massive powder slash.

The core also benefits from Nitro’s Whiplash torsional profiling, reduced core thickness between the binding inserts with overbuilt coring in the nose and tail creates maximum ollie power, while maintaining a perfect press flex and loose skate feel through the centre.

Nitro know how much of a beating park boards have to take, so they reinforced the edges of the Chuck with RailKiller Edges; twice as thick and twice as strong as standard edges, drastically reducing the change of dings and pull-outs.

The Chuck utilises Tri-Lite fibreglass laminates in its topsheet, a perfect blend of flex and torsion control. Tuned Tri-Lite Laminates are layered in 3 directions, resulting in a quick turning, highly responsive board.

The sintered speed formula base utilises a high density and highly durable base compound, which achieves a higher level of abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and faster speeds than traditional sintered bases.

The Chuck uses a traditional Radial Sidecut. Despite its simplicity, a radial sidecut is the most common form of sidecut radius due to its effectiveness, versatility and predictability.

The Park flex pattern is specifically tuned for park riding. This flex pattern is forgiving yet responsive; allowing you to take your riding to the next level on jumps and rails.

Topped off with Nitro’s “TRÜE” Camber; traditional standard camber which provides stability and pop. The amount of rebound and support you get from a cambered board is unrivalled by any other camber design. TRÜE Camber varies between board models because each board is specifically fine-tuned for individual terrains or riding styles.  For example, a larger camber profile provides maximum response, while a lower rise provides a more freestyle friendly flex. The Pow benefits from a mid-height camber, giving it a complementary blend of precision and playfulness.

What we say: “The Chuck doesn’t handle park riding, it dominates it. Bomb-proof construction and park specific flex ensure that the Chuck will grow with you, regardless of your ability.”
