The Jannu from Hilleberg is a rapid-pitching, four-season tent for two that's built to provide the ultimate bomb-proof backcountry shelter. The compact design is ideal for compact campsites in extreme conditions - small ledges, exposed ridges, and everything in between. The Jannu's lighter that might see some serious storms.
Fast pitching integrated design and handmade quality
Hilleberg's family owned legacy of 45 years is not one to contest. The Swedish tentmaker produces some of the most reliable handmade tents in the world today, and the Jannu continues this legacy. Bo Hilleberg's revolutionary integrated inner and outer simultaneously pitching tent-design is built to make life in the outdoors that much easier and safer. The inner tent is removable and replaceable with a mesh version, that's available separately, for camping in warm and wet climates.
Built for the worst weather
The pole sleeves are designed to accommodate two poles. This adds security and rigidity in extreme weather scenarios. The Jannu is a free-standing tent design but it's always recommended that you fix the guy lines when pitching. Guy line attachments wrap around the poles for increased stability in strong winds. Internal venting has an option to leave vents fully open or covered with no-see-um mesh. The Jannu is a versatile shelter. In warmer weather its possible to pitch the inner tent alone with the addition of optional pole holders.
