The Ortovox 3+ Avalanche Beacon Transceiver from Ortovox is the most important piece of safety gear to pack when heading to the backcountry. Loaded with features like Smart Antenna Technology to help rescuers locate you as quickly as possible, the 3+ can save your life and the lives of others in the most extreme situations.

Smart Antenna Technology

Instead of relying on a traditional single transmitting antenna, the 3+ benefits from a three-antenna design that automatically switches to the optimal transmitting antenna when you are buried in the slide to give rescuers a greater chance of locating you quickly. Ortovox also equip this transceiver with an S1+ with a Recco reflector that helps professional rescuers find victims buried in the snow even faster.

Easy to use display

When things get frantic, the 3+ can aid thanks to its simple, easy to read display. It gives you vital information to locating buddies in a slide, like distance and relative position to a casualty. A solid arrow and precision distance value on the centre of the display. The accuracy offered in search mode can dramatically reduce your search area and therefore search time.

Identify multiple transmissions

The 3+ allows you to maintain an overview even with multiple burials. The number of victims is shown in the display and as soon as you have found the first one you can blend out their signal with the pin key. The victim is displayed as pinned and you can immediately continue with your search for others

    Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. Delivery will be made by your Postman at the usual time. This service is not trackable and there are no guarantees on delivery date. For larger items, we may need to ship with a courier, if you'd like to know more, get in touch on 0131 260 9677. If the Postman is unable to deliver, you may be required to go to your local Mail sorting office to collect the package.

  • Next Working Day | Tracked - £4.99

    Delivery expected by Tuesday 24 April

    Most items will be dispatched with DPD and are fully track-able. The delivery must be signed for so someone must be at the specified address to accept the items. It is not possible for the delivery driver to leave the packages without a signature.
    In rare cases, rural addresses may be 2 days for delivery. If you are concerned please get in touch before placing order.

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery | Tracked - £11.99

    Delivery expected by 13:00 on Tuesday 24 April

    Delivery will be made by your postman next day, before 1pm. Deliveries are made every day except for Sundays. The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • DPD 12 Noon | Tracked - £14.99

    Delivery expected by 12:00 on Tuesday 24 April

    Delivery will be made by 12noon on the next working day (Monday to Friday). This delivery must be signed for, so someone must be at the specified address to accept the delivery.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • DPD Saturday 12 Noon | Tracked - £19.99

    Delivery expected by 12:00 on Saturday 28 April

    Delivery will be made by 12noon on the Saturday morning. This delivery must be signed for, so someone must be at the specified address to accept the delivery.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • Collect in Store - £0.00

    You can place your order online and drop into our store in Edinburgh, Scotland, to collect your order. Please enter your billing address into the delivery address section, and tick the box to say both addresses are the same.
    Orders will be kept aside for 2 weeks. If you require longer, please email contact@freezeproshop.com

Returns

We will happily exchange or refund items up to one month from the date of receipt (see cancelation policy). In addition to this we may be able to exchange or refund items returned outwith this timeframe if they are in unused and perfect condition but a small re-stocking charge may apply, please contact us by email to discuss this before sending goods back within this time frame.

On the back of your delivery note you will find your returns form which details the returns process. If you can't find it you request one from orders@freezeproshop.com

Faulty items that are under manufacturers warranty can be returned to us and if found to be faulty will be refunded or replaced, this is subject to inspection by the manufacturer. Please contact us for a returns authorisation before sending, if found not to be faulty then we may have to charge for any re-posting costs and will be unable to cover your return costs.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS-

  • Underwear (for obvious reasons)
  • Skis and ski bindings which have been mounted, as these will have been done to your specific requirements
  • DVDs which have been opened
  • Any item which is missing tags or is not in a new condition

Please note, that customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us for returns or exchanges, however we will happily cover the cost of shipping exchanges back to you.
