As a company built on passion and love for board sports, Quiksilver product ranges are vast, supplying you with everything you could imagine from outerwear, streetwear and wetsuits, to watches, accessories and backpacks. All of Quiksilver’s products are creatively designed and manufactured with extreme attention to detail, up-to-date materials and technology.
With their range of wetsuits, rash vests, wetsuit gloves, boots and hoods, Quiksilver are one of the oldest and most well-known brands in surfing. They were founded all the way back in 1969 in the Aussie surf mecca of Torquay,
Victoria. The world-renowned Bells Beach and surrounding area has given birth to brands like Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Strapper, Gash and Rojo over the years so it’s clearly an inspirational place when it comes to surf design, technology and style.
From those humble beginnings, Quicksilver has grown into a global force to be reckoned with in the worlds of snow, surf, apparel and accessories – and their female-friendly partner brand, Roxy, has been hugely popular with ladies who shred since 1990 too.
Today both brands support top-level athletes in surf and snow, with the likes of Jeremy Flores, Kanoa Igarashi, Leo Fioravanti, Zeke Lau, Mathieu Crepel and Travis Rice on their roster. Working closely with these inspirational pros, Quicksilver are given the elite standard insight and feedback to consistently innovate – pushing snow and surf technology forward to the next level.
Focused on community and sustainability
The guys at Quiksilver are driven by a commitment to the environments that our chosen sports call home – the mountains and the sea – and the communities that surround them.
They’ve got a big focus on sustainability in their supply chain and manufacturing processes. The aim is to become more efficient, reduce waste, and conserve the environment’s natural resources. When they found out that wood pulp from ancient forests was being used in the production of fabrics like rayon, viscose, modal, and lyocell, Quiksilver made the choice to source fabrics from suppliers who use wood pulp from responsibly farmed sources – one small step to help make your garments more sustainable and environmentally-friendly.
They’re not just into the natural world, but the communities that we live and play in too. You’ll find the Quiksilver foundation organising global and local events and initiatives that improve quality of life for communities across the world by supporting educational, health and youth-related projects that benefit them.
