The Dawn Patrol 5/4 Chest Zip Hooded Wetsuit from Rip Curl proves that it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to enjoy all the features we have come to expect in their high end steamers over the last couple of years. This winter wetsuit offers a whole lot of warmth and drying capability in this one, whilst giving you all the flexibility you need to surf like a champ.

A combination of greats

E5 neoprene, one of the highlight developments in the Flashbomb range this winter, is also featured in the Dawn Patrol’s action panels. This is coupled with Rip Curl’s fastest-drying-in-the-world E5 Flash Lining in the back panel, which quickly moves water away from your body. The rest of the suit is constructed with the brand new Thermoflex Neoprene – this is super warm and offers a good deal of flexibility too. Rip Curl’s mesh skin offers extra warmth; the mesh panels in this tech absorb solar heat and reduce chill too.

Seamless performance

The underarms and shoulder panels in the Dawn Patrol wetsuit are seamless and stitchless, ideal maximising movement and offering flexibility to the surfer. Where you do find a seam in this suit, it is glued and blinds-stitched, and E5 taped at the usual stress points. As a result, you get seams that are watertight, much stronger and will last far longer.

    Large or heavy items may need to be shipped with a different service, if you'd like to know more, contact us on 0131 260 9677. If the Postman is unable to deliver, you may be required to go to your local Mail sorting office to collect the package

  • Standard | Non-Tracked - £1.99

    Delivery expected by Tuesday 22 January

    Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. Delivery will be made by your Postman at the usual time. This service is not trackable and there are no guarantees on delivery date. For larger items, we may need to ship with a courier, if you'd like to know more, get in touch on 0131 260 9677. If the Postman is unable to deliver, you may be required to go to your local Mail sorting office to collect the package.

  • Next Working Day | Tracked - £4.99

    Delivery expected by Monday 21 January

    Most items will be dispatched with DPD and are fully track-able. The delivery must be signed for so someone must be at the specified address to accept the items. It is not possible for the delivery driver to leave the packages without a signature.
    In rare cases, rural addresses may be 2 days for delivery. If you are concerned please get in touch before placing order.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery | Tracked - £11.99

    Delivery expected by 13:00 tomorrow

    Delivery will be made by your postman next day, before 1pm. Deliveries are made every day except for Sundays. The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • DPD 12 Noon | Tracked - £14.99

    Delivery expected by 12:00 on Monday 21 January

    Delivery will be made by 12noon on the next working day (Monday to Friday). This delivery must be signed for, so someone must be at the specified address to accept the delivery.
    The cut-off for next day delivery is 12 noon. However, if placing an urgent order after this deadline, please call us on 0131 260 9677 and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • DPD Saturday 12 Noon | Tracked - £19.99

    Delivery expected by 12:00 tomorrow

  • Collect in Store - £0.00

    You can place your order online and drop into our store in Edinburgh, Scotland, to collect your order. Please enter your billing address into the delivery address section, and tick the box to say both addresses are the same.

Returns

OUR RETURNS POLICY

Generally, we'll be happy to exchange or refund anything you've bought for up to one month from the date you receive it, so long as it’s in perfect, unused condition. If you'd like to return or exchange an item you bought more than one month ago, then you may be able to, but please email us about it first – a small restocking charge may also apply.

Returning or exchanging an item does not affect your statutory rights. You’ll find the official cancellation policy within full our Terms & Conditions.

EXTENDED RETURNS FOR CHRISTMAS

All orders made between 1 November 2018 and 24 December 2018 are eligible for our extended return period. So, if you’re buying someone a gift and it’s not quite right, you’ve got until 24 March 2019 to return it*.

WHO COVERS THE COST OF RETURNING AN ITEM?

You’re responsible for the cost of returning items to us, but if you choose an exchange, we’ll be happy to cover the cost of shipping things back to you.

  • Anything that’s missing its tags or isn’t in a perfect, new and unused condition, including all its packaging
  • Skis and ski bindings which have been mounted, because these will have been done to your specific requirements and can’t be resold
