HE GEA HAS BEEN REMASTERED FOR THIS SEASON AND IS PACKED TO THE BRIM WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY
The Gea Women's Ski boot from Scarpa opens up the backcountry to new extremes. With improvements to weight and range of movement for walking, as well as women-specific precision fit and better energy transfer to the ski, the Scarpa Gea will have you mastering both uphill and down all winter long.
Lighter than ever, with no sacrifice on strength
Improvements to Grilamid used in the shell make this boot 10% lighter than the previous version. This coupled with Scarpa’s new cuff construction - a waterproof and breathable mesh that doesn’t alter strength or stability - means the Gea weighs in at just 1250g. Skinning is helped further and has a really natural feel thanks to frictionless 60-degree range of motion.
Customisable fit for guaranteed comfort
The cuff and liner feature women-specific design that is tailored to the calf for a more precise fit and comfortable support. You can customise the Gea further thanks to the fully mouldable Intuition liner, and forward lean in downhill mode can be adjusted 2 degrees either side of 16 to meet your preferred stance.
A secure fit so you can utilise all of your power
Scarpa’s glove-friendly three buckle system will have your lower foot and ankle locked in whether you’re headed uphill or down. The wave closure buckle on top of the foot distributes pressure evenly, whilst the over ankle HRS strap locks in your heel. Once you've closed the top of the Gea boot and switched to ski mode, the 100 flex rating allows you to drive your power to the modern ski shape efficiently, making all that climbing worthwhile.
Get the best out of your backcountry skiing this winter, pick the Gea Women's Ski Boot from Scarpa.
