Developed in conjunction with Volkl team rider Ahmet Dadali, the Revolt is an incredibly versatile all mountain freestyle destroyer. Created to jib, butter, slash, press and huck everything from tree trunks, hand rails and butter boxes they’re the ideal platform for increasing your bag of tricks all over the mountain. Bang-on mid-flex they’re the perfect blend of performance and playfulness, making them the ideal choice for intermediate to advanced freestyle skiers.

Built around a multi-layer wood core which combines two different densities of wood. In the binding area underfoot, a dense Ash wood core is used, while the rest of the ski utilises Poplar. The dense Ash underfoot give the bindings secure screw retention and stability, while the softer poplar sections create durability and pop. Volkl tailor the flex pattern for each ski model to match the desired performance characteristics.

The full sidewall construction maintains fantastic edge hold throughout the turn while simultaneously helping to absorb vibration from ruts and uneven snow pack.

The P-Tex 2100 sintered base uses high performance materials, ensuring maximum speed, agility and durability. Due to the high level of wax absorption, abrasion resistance and durability the base retains excellent gliding characteristics throughout the life of the ski.

Carbon stringers running the length of the core supercharge the ski’s performance by providing continuous flex, huge pop and responsive rebound from tip to tail.

Butterbox construction gives you a helping hand with your rail presses and knuckle butters thanks to specially designed flex points in the nose and tail which help you find and lock into the balance point of the press/butter with ease.

Tip and tail rocker blends reverse camber in the nose and tails with traditional positive camber underfoot. This allows the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow but hold a solid carve when required and because you’re not flexing against the camber in the nose and tail it’s easier to butter and press the ski in powder.

What we say: “One of the most versatile all-mountain freestyle skis around, the only thing likely to limit them is your creativity. Ideal for innovators who see every mogul, roller and piste fence as a jibbing opportunity.”

Size Guide

The size chart below provides a basic guide to finding the right ski length based on your height and ability but there are several other factors you should consider before choosing your new skis!

The two most relevant considerations when interpreting the chart below are your weight and the type of skiing you intend to do.

Weight: If you’re a heavier built that the average person of your height then we suggest choosing a longer ski as a heavier skier requires more edge to grip the snow and more base area for floatation in powder and cruddy snow.  Conversely, if you’re a slimmer build you may want to consider going for a shorter ski as you’ll need less edge / ski to support your weight than someone of an ‘average’ build.

Skier Type: Secondly, if you want a ski that’s going to inspire confidence when you’re skiing fast and you like to ski faster than most, then a longer ski is going to be preferable.   The additional edge and float provided by a longer ski will give you a more stable ride.  If, however, you’re more freestyle focussed and you want a ski that’s going to be more nimble and easier to manoeuvre at low speeds then a slightly shorter ski will work better for you as there will be less ski to manage.

If you have any queries at all on finding the right ski or ski size for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for further advice.
