Keep kids on shred!
Children are the future, so we shouldn’t scrimp on the tech that goes into our kid’s and Youth snowboards. Even though they’re are smaller and lighter, many of our range of Youth boards use the same quality construction materials and design techniques that go in to adult boards. We stock a diverse range of boards and sizes, so that we can cater to the needs of the future of snowboarding.
It’s all about flex and a forgiving ride
Besides being shorter and lighter to suit smaller frames, Youth snowboards are usually built with softer flex ratings and special tweaks to their profile and shape to make them super forgiving. The aim is to avoid the frustration that might come from riding a less forgiving board – keeping kids on their feet for longer, so they can progress and learn the techniques that they need to succeed.
Progression is key
Of course, there are some options out there for the advanced and progressing Grom too, with some brands adding advanced features like full hybrid-wooden cores and sintered bases to their kid’s board line ups.
But despite featuring a lot of the same tech as their adult equivalents, many manufacturers offer their kids boards at competitive prices, accepting less margin to help encourage more kids into the sport – great news for everyone!
